Pioneer Day
My sister and nephew came for the weekend.  We hit up the Bountiful parade, but it turned out to be a doozy.  It was scorching hot and crowded.  There were more policeman and dancers than anyone needs to see in one day.  It was Maddie's first parade.  She had trouble understanding how to get candy.  She thought it was Halloween and stood on the road, holding her bag open, waiting for people to drop some in.  When they would throw it, she wouldn't move.  Thanks to her cousins, she scored a few pieces.
Showing her excitement to be at a parade!
She didn't get much candy, but she had spirit and waved and clapped for most of the people in the parade.
Connor and Melissa....they really are so thrilled to be there.  Looks are deceiving.

After we went to my parents for a BBQ.  My uncle was visiting from Boise so we wanted to get the family together because we never see him.  My grandparents (Bellon's) and uncle Greg and his family came too.  I didn't get any pictures, but it was great to see everyone before Maddie and I leave Monday.  I am so lucky to have such a great family and am going to miss all of them.

Maddie and her great grams, Maurine Bellon.  How cute are both of them.
