MADDIE

Every year on Maddie's birthday, I post facts I want to remember about Maddie while she is growing up.

*Favorite TV shows are: Jesse, Toopey and Bino, Spongebob, Good Luck Charlie
*Favorite movies: Tangled, Poppers Penguins, Veggie Tales, Barbie movies
*Favorite foods: noodles, noodles, noodles, tacos, strawberries, blueberries, Special K cereal
*Favorite things to do: read books, paint, draw, color, any kind of craft, playing Barbies, IPOD touch and Leapster games, fashion shows, dancing, swimming, dress-up, and primary
*She wears a size 5, has a size 10 1/2 foot, weighs 42 lbs, and is 45 1/2 inches tall
*Favorite sassy words are: whatever, get over it, not cool
*Favorite colors: pink, purple, light blue
*She is in love with Justin Bieber
*She is a fish and would take baths all day long if possible
*She would stay outside in any weather all day too
*She loves ALMOST all the Disney princesses, she only "kind of" likes Belle and Tiana but loves the rest of them and wants to go meet them in Disneyland so bad.  She wants to live in the Disney store at the mall
*She still refuses to sleep alone.  She finally has her own room for the first time in her life and she cries until we let her in our room because she claims is scared.  No amount of bribery has worked and we are too big of suckers to let her cry it out
*She is scared to death of bugs, flies, ants, ladybugs and anything that can crawl, jump or slither
*She is starting to read and can read most of her sight word cards and is starting to sound out random words
*Her dad is her best friend and they have a tickle fight every single night and love to play together. They love to spend money on science experiments and both love watching airplanes and both want to be pilots together lol. Steve is as big of a kid as she is
*Everytime a "convertible" passes on the road, she makes sure to inform us that it is her favorite car and when she is big, she will be driving one



Maddie is honestly the best kid.  She is very sweet and rarely throws any kind of a fit and usually will listen and obey us.  Her spirit is so pure and good and kind.  Even though we haven't been able to have another child, we know that we were especially blessed when Maddie was chosen to come into our lives.  We are thankful to our Heavenly Father every single day that we get to be her parents and watch her grow and teach us how to be better people.  Happy 5th birthday to the sassiest, funniest, best kid any parent could ask for!  We love you.
