HAPPY EASTER!!
Maddie hates getting up on Sunday mornings, so I usually try and let her sleep until the last possible minute before having to go to church. Today was a bit different since my niece and nephew were down from Idaho and couldn't WAIT to see what the Easter bunny had left, so I gladly gave them the task of waking Maddie up for the big event! Usually there is lots of crying and whining, but when she heard there were gifts from the Easter bunny, she pretty much slept walked into my moms arms.

The Easter bunny accidentally thought it was Christmas! This was Maddie's stash.

Maddie and her new "Furr-real" dog that she named, Lola. Her cousin Kate has one exactly the same that she brings to Sunday dinners and Maddie won't ever leave it alone, so thank goodness the Easter bunny knew!

Brianna and her JUNK food and clothes!

Connor with his JUNK food and clothes! I think everyone scored pretty sweet with the big bunny this year!

Maddie didn't make it through church. She obviously didn't have enough sleep and was going to be a little pill for the rest of the day! My sister and her husband brought her home after sacrament for me and Connor and Brianna came with me to teach primary. I was really sad to have to tell my primary kids that I wouldn't be back because we were leaving to Canada. Steve and I only got to teach them for 5 weeks, but we sure loved every minute of it! This picture proves that she had enough after one hour of church. She looks like she is going to pass out and already had her sweater ripped off. She wasn't having anymore of it! NAP TIME!

My brother and his kids came over for some Easter egg dying, a hunt and dinner. The kids had a blast dying eggs and even the little ones seemed like old pros at it. The hunt was like Easter all over again and their baskets were FULL once again. Thank goodness for grandma's who are organized enough to do that kind of thing!

Maddie actually dyed an orange Easter egg! She hates orange anything...wont touch orange fruit snacks, orange drinks, and refused to color an egg orange for the first couple of eggs until I gave her only orange dye!

Maddie and Ty hanging out after the hunt. Don't they just look like two old friends having a conversation? They are so cute!

We had a great Easter, but sure wish that Steve could have been here to join in on all the fun times! Thanks Mom and dad for always feeding us on Sundays and for all the good memories! We love you!
