Birthday Bash!
We took a weekend trip to Lethbridge to spend Maddie's birthday with Steve's family.  Maddie wanted to go see the second Chipmunk movie, so we started our day off with some popcorn and singing critters.  Afterwards, uncle Adam and auntie Vic let us have pizza, cake, and presents at their house.  Steve has a tradition that he wants to make Maddie's cake every year.  Maddie insisted on having a Dora Backpack cake, which wasn't such an easy request and even harder because the internet wasn't working and so Steve didn't even have a picture to look at.  He is such a cute dad!
We laughed and called it the Hamburglar from McDonalds
She refused to blow the candles out (too much attention was on her)

All of Maddie's aunts and uncles and grandma Cindy came for her party and spoiled her rotten.  Jon bought her a Teddy bear that took up a whole seat in the car, Amy bought her a cute cuddle bear to sleep with that vibrates, Vic and Adam gave her a fairy Barbie that has a spinning wing, grandma and the girls gave her a bunch of books, a Fur Real Bear, a new sippy cup, a mini fish tank with fake fish and a shirt from Washington Dc.  We gave her a cleaning cart (because heaven knows I need a housecleaning assistant), and two barbies (one with a dog bath and one that potty trains with poop in the flushing toilet...thanks honey).  Auntie Emily was last, but not least and surprised us all with a new HAMSTER!  She is adorable and Maddie has finally chosen the name, "Tiny".  Maddie is so lucky to have such wonderful family that cares about her and made her birthday special.  Thanks everyone for making Maddie feel so loved and important
