Wilderness Friends
We got home last weekend and it was -30 C and there were 3 deer hudled under the tree by our apartment trying to keep warm.  I felt so bad for them so I threw some cheerios and bread out to feed them.  BIG MISTAKE because deer obviously communicate.  The next day the same deer waited by my gate for some more food and I gave them some carrots and apples (which they devoured).  Every day since, they have shown up to our gate begging for food, only they have recruited friends and the other night there were 7 deer waiting outside for scraps.  Time to go to the feed store before they eat us out of house and home!  They are too adorable to resist, especially becuase they bring the babies.

See Kim? You don't need another baby, you've got deer! How far away is Couer dAlene from where you are?

SUCKER!!! That's what those deer are thinking! They bring their babies on purpose to make you feel that way. Don't you remember the story of my husband Steve being attacked by a deer? These are dangerous animals we're talking about! They might literally "eat you" out of house and home. :)
