Week in Review
Steve has been here a week already and it seems like he got here yesterday. We haven't done too much, just lots of grocery shopping, eating out, watching movies and playing the Wii. It is so fun to have him here.
My parents came down Friday for a visit. My little brother, Sterling, is finishing his basement and my dad came to do his electrical work for him. We all met them Friday night at Johnny Corino's for dinner and then watched the movie, Unstoppable at my sisters house.
Saturday the men worked on Sterling's house and later that afternoon we stopped at the zoo to see the camel and then all met up for the movie, Hop, except my dad and Sterling who kept working away. Even Melissa and my trainer, Joel, and his daughter came along. We didn't love the movie like we had hoped we would, all the funny parts were in commercials, but it was still fun. Afterwards we went to visit Brianna at the hamburger joint she works at for dinner, Scotty's. It was delicious. My sister and her kids met Adam (bro-in-law) in Utah after Brianna got off work so they can travel to Vegas and California for their spring break. Steve and I are dog sitting for them while they are gone. It will be nice to have some alone time, especially for Maddie and Steve to do some major bonding since we have hardly seen him the last year.
Sunday we stayed in our jammies, watched conference with my parents and brother and his family. We had German pancakes for breakfast, because it is a tradition at my parents and then played Wii the rest of the night. We were sad that my parents had to head back to Utah, but it sure was fun to have almost the whole family here for the weekend.
