Water Day

Today we just wanted to spend some time together as a family. We picked up Maddie's favorite fries and gravy from KFC an headed to the River. We didn't end up staying long because the mosquitoes were outrageous and feasting on every inch of bare skin. It was disturbing how many were out. So since it was scorching hot out, we took Maddie to the mall to buy a swimsuit and let her rock her stuff at the spray park. She also got new sunglasses and thought she was a model. We stopped for some ice cream on the way home to cool off some more and later that night headed out to see the new Cars 2 movie with his mom and all the girls. Maddie has been in heaven with her dad. She adores him and I love to see them together.
