Musical Maddie
Maddie LOVES any kind of music. Her favorite song to listen to is, "All I Wanna Do," by Sugarland. Every time she hears the song start, her face lights up and she can hardly control her excitement. Then, she shakes her booty, dances like a bobble-head and sings the chorus, "dooo-ooo-ooo."

Maddie has been singing up a storm lately as well. She turns every word she learns into some kind of song, and usually the song only consists of her saying, "wa, wa, wa, wa" and then she will throw in a word she knows. At church on Sunday, she has finally caught on that we use the hymn books for singing time. She sat on Steve's lap as soon as she heard the music start, opened a book and started singing, "WA, WA, HA, HOW, WA, WA," at the top of her lungs. It was so cute and we couldn't stop laughing. She totally paid attention to the chorister and was so dramatic about it, like she is an all-American singer or something. Anyways, we were at Wal-Mart yesterday doing some shopping and she decided to break out in song. Well, it was a song that only consisted of the word, "boobies!" Thankfully she says, "booties" and nobody realized that she was belting out a song about boobs! How embarrassing. All she said was, "booties, booties, booties, booties, booties..." only to a tune of her own song, while she waved her arms around like she was a ballerina. Jeez, she makes me laugh. As if! Boobies? I'm glad she didn't lift her shirt up and show hers off as she sang to everyone. I'm going to have the biggest laugh lines on my face by the time this girl turns 3!

She and my son would hit it off swimmingly. Kyson notices the smallest details and as we pass moms in the store, he'll tell them i won't nurse their babies-only ours. I'm so glad he feels its necessary to clarify that.
